Bike to School and Work Day - Friday, May 15
Join thousands of two-wheel commuters on National Bike to School and Work Day. Participants of the Bicycle Commuter Contest can earn double the miles on this date! Many schools, including Garfield Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School and Capital High School are supporting group rides to school on this day with celebrations and recognition for riders. Cycling to school gives students a chance to get exercise, have fun, learn safety skills and fight climate change. Participation is growing every year. You can keep up the momentum year round by teaching children bike safety and encouraging them to ride. Go SW Olympians!
